Each year leading up to Christmas, our talented cooks make a beautiful Christmas lunch for our young moms and their children. Often for many of our young families this might be their only turkey dinner, so we do our best to make it special. Dessert included nut-free mini-cupcakes from Thimblecakes, and tasty Christmas shortbreads baked by our good friends at Hydro Ottawa, who were here earlier in the month for a day of volunteering.

Everyone enjoyed the lunch, and donors, volunteers,  and board members helped us serve the food.

The toddlers performed their rendition of Jingle Bells for us all!

Santa made his appearance again this year, otherwise known as our longtime dedicated volunteer, Jerry.

Also this year we had a wonderful children’s performer, Rachelle Ellie, lead our toddlers in song.
